My steak was cook to perfection
If you LOVE eating food such as steak and seafood than you will want to stop in the town of Sumter South Carolina. Home to Shaw Air Force Base and less than 2 hours from Myrtle Beach. This is one of South Carolina’s largest top 10 cities and is steadily growing with it’s population due to it’s military ties and place for new businesses and growth. So what is it there to do in Sumter, South Carolina besides visit their beautiful Swan Lake?

Sumter S.C Luxury Restaurants for Dinning
1. Hamptons
If you love American cruise with an Italian twist to it than this is the place to be in. What I loved about going to this restaurant for the New Years was that it was so elegant but also had a homy but reserved vibe to it. You can either sit in their beautiful inside luxury restaurant as seen in the picture down below, or either sit outside in their patio area that sometimes features live music. Either way sitting indoor our outside the food and service was great and I have complaints.
2. Willie Sue’s
Known for their American eatery with a rustic chic décor. This restaurant has everything you need for a good date night or just simply hanging out with friends. It has some of the best tasting steaks in town along with a nice cup of sweet ice tea, wine, and craft beer. If you’re looking to get away with some friends for the afternoon or night than this is the place to go to enjoy and have fun after a long day at work and also catch up on the game by watching on their TV.
3. Sumter Original Brewery
Although this isn’t a luxury restaurant per say it is a great place for a great date night and night out on the town with some friends and family. With it being Sumter’s first and only brewery right now in town this place has a 15 beer brewing system with some light foods such as old southern boiled peanuts, house salad, and potato chips. The best part about this brewery is it’s magnificent rooftop bar that features hang out spot vibe with a sitting area above the building to see the entire downtown site of Sumter.
4. J O’Grady’s
Great for their live music located in the heart of downtown Sumter S.C. This bar/restaurant is great for any type of afternoon, evenings, or nights for all types of meals when you’re just getting off work or out for lunch with a co-worker. With it’s gluten free and vegetarian options this restaurant is one of a kind with it’s nice selection of beers. I would definitely say that this is a great spot for grabbing lunch out with a friend or a late night dinner date with a new acquaintance.
5. Palmetto Oyster House
If you love seafood than this is the place to go to get a fix for all of your seafood needs. Featuring shrimp, oysters, tilapia, with fries and pickles on the side. You will love sitting outside at their bar serving area that offers you the best craft beer that will leave you with a tingling sensation inside. This restaurant has a new relaxed comfy vibe for all types of crowds.
6. Thai House
If you love Sushi or any type of raw cooked food than you may want to try out Sumter’s Thai house that features the best Thai cruise. You can get all of the finest salads and soups for when going out with friends, or enjoy their dinner menu that features Thai noodles, stir fry, sushi combos, chicken wings, and more. This is a great place for a date night because it’s authentic and offers a cool relaxed friendly atmosphere for meeting new people as well.
